Can I bring my dog?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own dog. We have a kennel facility on the ranch.

Do I need a hunting license?

No, Three Bars Ranch is a private hunting preserve, hunting a non-native bird, for that reason no hunting license is required

Is there a bag limit?

No, there are no bag limits.

How many hunters will be at the ranch?

While Three Bars can handle hunting parties up to 20 people, the majority of the time there are 6 to 12 hunters on the ranch.

Calgary, Alberta is a 4 hr. drive, 45 min flight (Direct to Cranbrook Airport)
Lethbridge, Alberta is a 3 hr. drive
Kalispell, MT is a 3 hr. drive

Vancouver, B.C. is a 10 hr. drive, 1 1/2 hr. flight (Direct Cranbrook Airport)

Are there activities for non-hunters?

Yes, there are many activities for non-hunters. Non-hunters can go golfing, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and much more. Please contact for more details.
